Dear Annie-Jane. How I trust your feelings, your vision, your childhood, your early church. You make me cry with a smile on my face. You can Blogvent me anytime. All love. Ken-san

Dear Ken-San, You make me want to pour my heart out all over the place. ( It's already runny as pancake batter, if not as sweet.) And I notice you've created a verb of what were, formerly, only nouns and gerunds:
blogvent. That is so great. This is a fine moment.

Well, I had no idea you had a blog addiction, Anne. I'm just starting to delve into that abyss myself. I now follow four blogs, I think.

And, I confess, I once crashed a convention. Even got into the big, fancy dinner. It was worth it and besides everyone there knew me so I fit in and they didn't know I was a crasher.

Love your description of Darlene: what a character!

Anne Caston

Hi Vivian,

It's true: I DO seem to be addicted to blogs, in much the same way I am addicted to reading good books, I think. I love the myriad voices out there. And I am always curious about what moves them to write or post their art or comment on the times. It's great. Much better than FaceBook, I believe. The content goes deeper and I'm finding some memorable writing out there! Enjoy yourself on the blogs!

Laura

I think we should form our own blog panel! :)

Anne Caston

Hi Laura,

I am adding your blog to the list in this posting! I could not, for the life of me, remember your blog title until you sent this note.

Yes, yours is one I have grown addicted-to. I have even ordered some of those vegetarian cookbooks you recommended.

Now if I can just convince my carnivore husband. . .

Well, well, well. You found yourself some fuel for the fire! Even the Darlenes of this world can wind up as gems in our work (as she is here in yours). I will never waste a "free afternoon" again, and will look around the corner for what I least expect!

Much love,
Emily J.

Anne Caston

Hi Emily! Good to hear from you again. I appreciate you taking time out from your studies to read the blog. Bless your heart for being so loyal.

Yes, Darlene was a trip. And there are so MANY interesting people out there. If I did nothing but hang out in little diners and dives and write about the people I saw, I'd fill this blog every day.

What a great way to see the world, eh?

All best,
Anne
